Bordeaux is named for the French region that could be the most well-known wine-growing region in the world. In particular, the company said that the Bordeaux’s profile was heavily influenced by the aroma of red fruits ad blackcurrants found in Châteaux Zaya’s Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2019. The blend features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, an Ecuadorian habano 2000 binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Brazil. The tobaccos used in the blend have been aged for a minimum of five years, with the blends described as being in the mild to medium range.​
